A Taste of Piemonte...

•  Italian Piedmont Wine Dinner  •

Wednesday, October 19th & Thursday, October 20th

October’s wine dinner is, arguably, the best of the year. Why? This is the month when we feature the awesome wines of the Italian Piedmont! With its superstar wines, Barolo and Barbaresco, this region produces Italy’s greatest wines, and they also pair so well with the foods of autumn. While the final selection of wines is not complete at this point, it will be a star-studded affair, featuring some of the best winemakers of this exceptional region. As usual, we will be serving five wines with five courses of great food! This will be a very special and memorable occasion. Call 734-327-2312 for more details or, or to make reservations.

$125 per person, Wine & Food

•  A New “Golden Hour” for Logan!  •

As Logan has grown, we finally have achieved a level of business that has allowed us to have a full-time bartender. That bartender is Mark Erhman, and he’s a gem. He is as passionate about his cocktails as Kevin is with wine or Chef is with food, and he has earned a little time in the spotlight! Sneak in between 5pm and 6pm for our new “Golden Hour”, where we will be featuring some of Mark’s unique concoctions, paired with favorite appetizers for just $5!

Logan's 6th Anniversary Celebration!

•  Burgundy Wine Dinner  •

Wednesday, November 16th & Thursday, November 17th

Along with “A Taste of Piemont” the other wine dinner that we really look forward to all year long is our birthday bash, when we open up some of our favorite wines from Burgundy. Lithe, elegant, and unforgettable, these haunting wines defy description, and are the ultimate match for Chef Thad’s cuisine! We have been stashing away all sorts of special treats throughout the year for these evenings; don’t miss the unveiling. Call 734-327-2312 for details, but don’t wait too long to save a table for this very special evening!

$125 per person, Wine & Food

•  James Beard Awards and Other News  •

The balloting for the prestigious James Beard Foundation awards begins again very shortly, and we count on your support to help Chef Thad secure the title “Best Chef: Great Lakes Area”. In the coming weeks, we will be sending out a special email which will explain what you can do to bring this title home to Logan and Ann Arbor. Please take a few minutes to look at that when it arrives; much appreciated…Go Team! In other areas, look for our new, fancy menu covers. (Humor us, we love them). Congratulations to Arynne McKenzie, our longtime lead server who has been promoted to be our new manager! Next time you are in, say hello to some new faces that have joined Logan’s staff this fall, Amelia, Christopher, and Sherri.

Natural Wines at Logan

As time has gone by and our wine list expands, we’ve made a concerted effort to find, obtain, and serve wines from producers that avoid the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Furthermore, we also are seeking wineries that refrain from using exotic enzymes to manipulate their wines. What did we discover? Like our friends at Zingerman’s say, "You can taste the difference!" Biodynamic? Organic? Pre-Industrial? We’ve got them, so you can try them; just ask Kevin!

New Menu Items are Here!

Chef Thad has added some delicious new items to our menu! For starters, a few old favorites have been updated and brought back, including our Fennel Salad and the Osso Buco. Early favorites are the Sautéed Camaròn: shrimp served with a house made molé sauce, and the Olive Oil Poached Tuna, with saffron risotto, braised fennel, lemon nage, and our own olive crisps. Definitely worth a try!

Of all the wine dinners we do, this has been the best attended through the years. Don’t wait too long to reserve your seats for this one of a kind experience! Call 734-327-2312 for more information or to book a table.

Outdoor Seating is Coming Soon!

One of Michigan’s simple pleasures, dining al fresco, is coming back! We have brought the patio furniture out of storage, and have reopened our outdoor seating area for your enjoyment. It is the perfect place for a casual meal, a drink before or after a show, or just to watch Ann Arbor stroll past. Since our lovely weather is so fickle, we can’t take reservations for those seats—sorry, but we will note your request.
